What is more pleasant than having a cup of tea with your beloved one, friends or family for a moment 😊

One of the best places for a cup of tea is undoubtedly the famous historical «Angelina» located 226 rue de Rivoli and launched in 1903. The interior was designed in the « Belle Epoque » charm and elegance. For sure, it’s a Parisian touristic place but also occupied by true Parisians ! I heard for a long time that its hot chocolate is known as the best one in Paris and I’m confirming it ! Teas are also really nice, such as pastries. This place is my favourite stop after enjoying an exhibition at the museum « Les Arts décoratifs », 107 rue de Rivoli. As a matter of fact, I will soon discover the Christian Dior exhibition, until January 7th, 2018.

Not away from there, on the other side of the Seine, I love the hidden thé house «L’heure gourmande », 22 passage Dauphiné. This place is located in a quiet Parisian « passage », away from the Parisian noise. The terrace is ideal in summer time, and the cosy interior perfect for winter… menus are for sure adapting to the seasons ! I am recommending you the lemon cake and if you do not know what to choose, the mix of cakes will be perfect for you !

In the “Saint-Paul” district, Le loir dans la théière, 3 rue des Rosiers, is offering a charming place in the Marais heart. Desserts are prepared on site and are very tasty ! Go there on week days during a day off, otherwise you will have to queue for a long time as it’s really is a place to see/to be !

4. T’ CUP :

Still in the Saint-Paul area, discover “T’ cup”, in a vintage and homely atmosphere, 16 rue des minimes. You really feel in the UK there, having the essential cup of tea ! I love the huge library in it, from which you can borrow a book and take the time to read it with some pastries.

And last but not least, “Le Pois gourmand”, 14 rue du Moulin des Prés, is a new address in Paris ! It offers organic and fresh products and a large variety of teas. All desserts are homemade and this tea house is a partner of “Too Good To Go”, the online mobile application which fights against food waste by proposing to clients products with lower price at the end of the day ! Have a look as soon as you can !
